House Republicans are quietly working to insert immigration legislation into the text of the Department of Defense authorization bill that would allow so-called DREAMers to obtain permanent legal residency by joining the military, Breitbart News has learned.

I support rapid and efficient deportation of all illegal aliens and criminal prosecution of any employer. “Be right on citizenship or be in prison”. That is the law!!
What happens if a DREAMer does not qualify medically for enlistment?
Will he be able to get a Green Card by doing some other kind of “national service?”
Is it fair to ask if home grown Americans might be denied a job in the military, or denied promotion, because illegal aliens are taking those jobs away?
When the DREAMer is discharged, and he receives his Green Card, do people understand that his parents, who came to the USA illegally, will also receive Green Cards?
Do people understand that just one DREAMer Green Card opens the Green Card “gate” for dozens of other family members and in-laws?
Do Republican Congressmen understand that 80% of these people will vote for the Democrat Party when they become citizens?
It used to be that way. Under the Carter administration, I believe, who probably did it in an attempt to further reduce the size of the military as well as lessening the amount we spent on maintaining it, in the seventies simply joining the military was no longer proof of your commitment to this country's core values. You were on your own, and had to go fill out the forms and apply for citizenship on your own dime, with no more consideration than that of any other applicant.
Less, actually, since I happen to know for a fact that they were handing out the questions and answers to the citizenship exams to the Vietnamese "boat people" so that they could get their citizenship without too much bother.
Any politician who promotes amnesty/illegal aliens is willing to damage this country.

This could cause a dangerous shift in the composition of the military towards soldiers that are not only not loyal to America, but who have a grudge against America and “Anglos.”

I have a dream that the Romney, Ryan, Paul and Cruz families will supply young men for our military. I have a dream that we will actually see some GOP leaders who were man enough to serve in combat units. One can always dream.
Exactly, Rome went down this route. When young men are unwilling to serve in uniform it is a horrible indicator for the nation.

Prosecuting employers is essential. Also essential is for politicians to stop inducing illegal entry by promising free/reduced cost education, subsidized health care, and other entitlements. Also politicians must stop facilitation by giving driver license etc. Inducing and facilitating are crimes themselves. Perhaps politicians should be prosecuted as well.
For the past several years there has been a unrelenting push for Amnesty. We are told that the border will be secured by some “comprehensive reform” yet all during this time there has been no effort whatsoever to secure the border. This refusal to secure the border is their leverage, which they will not surrender. If the border had been secured the Amnesty forces would lose their bargaining chip. These people are highly motivated, organized, and subvert the law. They jeopardize our security and general welfare holding them hostage to their demand for Amnesty.
If they were anything other than zealous subversives they would have spent these past years building trust and confidence with Americans by securing our border and enforcing our immigration processes. But they have not. They will not. They care not about anything other than their agenda. The security and welfare of you or the United States is of no concern. They want to cheat at business and empower themselves politically.
The promise of enforcement after some “comprehensive reform” is lip service. If they meant it it would have already happened. And now, yet again, they are exposed in some devious scheme to sneak through their Amnesty agenda.
They have earned every drop of hatred that I have for them.
This isn’t about military recruitment. This is just so the illegal alien can punch the ICE agent in the face and scream at them they they are a Cantor Dreamer.
This is deliberate attempt to give illegals excuses when law enforcement tries to arrest them.
If they get arrested they just promise to join the military and they are let go.
Is this what their little “secret” meeting was all about ..??
We could have saved them the trouble.
If they do this .. the election in Nov is going to be a complete overhaul.
What a legacy for Mr. Boehner .. a complete destruction of the laws of America .. he should be so proud.

If this is such a good idea, why are the Republicans trying to hide it in another bill? Good ideas can stand on their own. Bad ideas need to hide from scrutiny.

This is why there is such a high correlation between those who call for amnesty and those who call for US military action place after place around the world.
There is a high correlation between (1) those calling for amnesty, and, (2) those calling for US military action in place after place around the world. The "Dreamers" are needed to liberate, occupy and rebuild Iran, Syria, Crimea, etc etc etc........
IOW, this is a sub rosa neocon plot. Talk about planning ahead. The military personnel will be in place when the pukes dupe the next president into invading several countries of their choosing.
Yet another indication of the pukes takeover of the GOPe.....kicking conservatives to the curb every chance they get.
