LOL, maybe so.
It’s always scary when the shaking starts, because you never know if it’s going to build, or if an aftershock will be much worse. It’s pretty nerve wracking when you feel the house or the building you’re is moving like it’s a slinky toy. You can feel the top half moving in a different position than the bottom. It’s really weird. But once it’s over it’s pretty much like getting off a roller coaster- wheeeee!!!
On the other hand, everyone living here knows any day may be your last, if the big one hits and you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, like my mother’s classmate who died in the 1933 Long Beach quake. Still, the freeways around here are a lot more deadly!
