Of course the movie takes ‘artistic license’ with the story of Noah, but you have to realize the biblical story of Noah is so short that if you stuck to it 100% you’d have maybe 15 minutes of movie, with massive plotholes.

Then why make a movie of it at all?

I hope more people realize this and form their own opinions, rather than parroting opinions from hateful people who haven’t even seen the movie.

I'm forming opinions based on people who have seen it. I'll probably watch it when it's on Netflix for a good laugh, but I'll certainly not spend money at the theater for it.

Also, God, i.e, “The Creator”, is mentioned all the time, so I have no idea where that criticism came from.

Why not call Him "God" then? Perhaps it's not a good idea to let an atheist direct a "biblical" movie?

Go see it. You’ll like it.

Of course. To get a dialogue going, right?

The director of the movie was raised Orthodox Jew. Jews never use the word God.
