My guess is the Connecticut kapos will pick gunowners off one at a time.
Get stopped for speeding? database sez you own an illegal eeeevil gun? Off to jail!
Drivers licencse renewal? Gun data base check and off to jail!
etc.

Then it will be time to start picking off the Kapos (the GIVERS OF THE ORDERS) one at a time. "Accidents" do happen!

In view of your insightful comment, there needs to be a website setup to track these incidents and see where the data points cluster—politically, registration-wise, etc. These scum need to be exposed one incident at a time, in substantially real-time.

That's precisely why I said that the citizens of the state should have killed all the bureaucrats involved in taking gun information on the law's opening day — repeat until no bureaucrat would provide manpower for registration (also works for police/security protecting said bureaucrat).
The bureaucrats and police enacting or supporting such operations are what would be regarded as domestic enemies by any US military-man circa 1940 or prior.
