I loathe the bastard in the White House as much as anyone, and he certainly brings new lows to the definition of an incompetent ass, but, I’ve been wondering what we could have done to prevent what’s happened in The Ukraine.

What, short of some kind of armed action, would have made a difference?

“I’ve been wondering what we could have done to prevent what’s happened in The Ukraine.”

American citizens and politicians standing up to the Soros Group Cabal a long time ago, would have been a good start.

The unrest in Ukraine was always there, under the surface, due to ethnic and economic tensions, but it was brought forward and exploited, by Open Society NGO’s, and Obama Admin appointees like the US Ambassador to Europe, who was caught on tape coordinating the Anti-government protests. (Bet you won’t ever be seeing THAT one on the NBC Evening News!)

This is the exact same formula they used to bring down the governments in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, too.

I’m wondering what he may have done to start it! Obama and the CIA seem to have been involved in a lot of people’s uprisings recently that have all gone awry!

I’ve been wondering what we could have done to prevent what’s happened in The Ukraine.

  1. Make sure that Ukrainian officials do not steal their country's wealth. If they do, arrest their assets in Western banks and return them to Ukraine.
  2. Make sure that Ukrainian national policy is sane. Explain to them that burning Kiev is a danger to all Europe, and that the neighbors will not sit idly watching that.
  3. Make sure that all political parties that participate in Ukrainian democracy are, in fact, democratic. Ensure that neo-Nazi political parties are not allowed, and neo-nazis are arrested, put on trial and convicted as warmongers that they are.
  4. If riots begin, stand firm behind the legitimate, elected government. They may be thieves and idiots, but they are the democratically elected government. Do not support nondemocratic methods of changing the government, as long as democratic methods remain available. (They remained available in Ukraine, and elections were due next year. Not anymore, I guess.)

This would be too much in terms of involvement of one state in affairs of another. But this is what had to be done.

I believe Putin would not have made a move for Crimea (and possibly for other territories) as long as Ukraine remains a viable democracy and a responsible partner. However Ukraine went through a violent revolution that brought radicals to power. Those radicals wasted no time in issuing threats to Ukrainians who do not support them. They said words about changing the status of the Black Sea Fleet. Putin, in response, said this.
