Can you blame Karzai for sucking up to the Taliban? We’re bugging out, he’s gotta live there. He will probably be on the first plane after we are gone; if not, he won’t last long.
Why should he care, he has gotten RICH, filthy RICH from all the “aid” the U.S. has sent there, not to mention that our boys died or came home short of several parts in an effort to keep him alive.
Get out of that 4th century country and leave him to his due. I hope it comes with a very high price.

Same in Iraq. After Saddam fell, and especially after we caught him, our work was done. Install a Sunni guy to watch the Shiites and keep Iran out, and our work is done.
That nation building crap doesn't work in a Muslim land unless you are willing to be brutal in bringing it about, Mongolian style. And of course we are not.

Is Karzai packing his millions together and leaving the country to live in luxury in the West and leave “his people” to rot by themselves?
And this is the guy that good and brave Americans bled and died for?
