The Looking Spoon has been posting here for a number of years.
He always posts his full content and makes no pretense of forcing you to go to his blog to see the “rest of the story.”
Sometimes his work is good, sometimes great, and sometimes not so much, but he’s a regular contributor, will comment and interact and makes a positive contribution to FreeRepublic.
So FR asks for money to continue operations. Do bloggers who link to their sites here on FR have to pay more? Why not? Who sets the criteria for a blogger to send visitors to his blog?
Thanks shibumi!
stuck_in_new_orleans, if you don’t care about my blog, that’s fine! Don’t visit it. As shibumi aptly points out I never manipulate posts to get anyone here to go to it, and I never will.
One of the things I love best about coming here are the comments, I’ve gotten some good ideas from Freepers, and when I do my weekend caption “contest” (it’s not really a contest, that’s for lack of a better word) Freepers routinely come up with the funniest/best ones.
I like going on other forums and social media, but I like FR the best because the people here are by far the most intelligent bunch on the conservative sphere of the internet.
shibumi and his writings are a SHINING example of what I mean by that.
