Is there a radiator behind that grill in the front of the vehicle? Would a S&W 500 Magnum round or two penetrate it?

You’d want pointy and 2000+fps, in that same diameter or larger...

I've read that the .50 AE was designed for Israeli border guards to disable vehicles. About 1,300 ft/lbs with a 300 grain bullet. The 500 S&W with the same weight bullet produces near 2,000 ft/lbs, about the same as a .454 Casull. I'd expect a smaller diameter bullet to have more penetration, but at these energy levels it's probably an academic argument.

Just to extend the options, a .338 Lapua delivers that kind of energy at 500 yards, rather than the muzzle.

Purely for the sake of discussion of course.
