Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Friday lamented the lack of a military option for the United States in Ukraine against Russia and criticized President Obama for thinking the Cold War is over.
During a segment on MSNBC, McCain said that the Obama administration doest understand Russian President Vladimir Putin. They have been near delusional in thinking that the Cold War was over, McCain said referring to Obama officials. Maybe the president thinks the Cold War is over but Vladimir Putin doesnt and thats what this is all about.
Later in the interview, when host Andrea Mitchell asked if there is a military option for the U.S. in Ukraine, the Arizona Republican sounded despondent. Id love to tell you that there is Andrea, but frankly I do not see it, he said, adding, I wish that there were.
I do not see a military option and its tragic.

Mr. niteowl77
Maybe if it was 7.62x39 instead???
Mr. McCain there is much we could do—Send more ships into the Black Sea—Ask for a base in Ukraine—a naval base we can rent for 99 years. Maybe send US troops and tanks to Poland and The Check Republic—Give these sates anti-Missle rockets. How about an arms deal with Ukraine? Five them airplanes and helecopters? Lots we can do—but will Obama—Nope.
This MoFo would have gotten us into WWIII.
Say what you will, but we’re probably better off with Obama winning in 2008.
Sad that this is what it’s come to in this country.
LOL Funny but true.
Russia has had troops in the Ukraine since the 1500’s. And McCain wants to go to war over it?
What a blithering idiot!
well, since even Senator McCain acknowledges we have zero military option available to us in Ukraine (whether that would be a wise course or not....either way....)
since we have no military option there, how about Obama and his Great Enabler Senator McCain QUIETING DOWN about it, and cutting OUT all the artificial bravado and silly threats?
Walk Loudly but carry a limp dick? ... is not a Winning Strategy .... in any event ....(regardless of what we maybe Should or Should Not do about it)
Let the UN do the “peacekeeping”.

As Russia is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, they would just vote NO.
I see absolutely no reason for America to get involved in the dispute between the EU and Russia regarding Ukraine.
WWPD? (Putin)
McLame’s state of Representation is anything but Arizona.
Why do they keep electing a rep of Mexico/Syria/Ukraine?
“Welcome to the party, pal.”
Yeh tragic that we can’t send our troops into another nightmare.
I'll tell you what was really tragic, having to choose between John McCain and Barack Obama.
Why do the taxpayers pay for this guy to be on TV every Sunday?
Why did he survive all those plane crashes?
If McCain had been elected in 2008, America would be a smoldering cinder by now.
