Lissen, Hoss, I really really thought I was a "Natural Born Citizen." So, I coulda been wrong. No crime to be wrong. What difference does it make, now that I am CIC? No foul.

I've heard quite a few times this phrase, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse," though I'm sure neither that Holder guy nor the Solicitor General think whatever the meaning is, was "settled law" at the time Barry penned his affirmation thereof. OTOH, Pelousy, as a Leader of the House, making official representation on behalf of a candidate, had a clear duty to have assured what she wrote was correct.

OTOH, that defense all goes out the window, as it obviously could never have meant what Barry actually is.
