Killin’s too good for them. I want them to feel the pain and shame for what they have done to us. I want them to be laughed at and spit on wherever they go.

But sadly, they never will. It is unwise to hope for such an outcome.
The sociopaths in command positions at most of our civic and cultural institutions have trained themselves to be incapable of shame. Many of them cannot feel pain or fear either - at least not in any way that is comprehensible to ordinary people.
It is not possible to "fix" them or "compromise" with them.
Only their forced removal from power positions will be sufficient to stop the damage that they do.
If we are extremely lucky this might yet be accomplished by political means.
