This November is the 25th anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling. We completed a film called "Rockin' the Wall" about music's part in bringing down the wall, featuring interviews with witnesses from behind the Iron Curtain, policy analysts, historians, and musicians, from the Doors, Quiet Riot, Toto, Vanilla Fudge, and so on.
Beginning around October 1, we will be doing a limited national theatrical release and can bring the film for a one-night-only screening to your town! These screenings usually have a number of people who lived under communism come out and tell their stories. Please freepmail me if you are interested in having a screening in your town.
Also, as a by product, if you ever wanted me in for a booksigning event, I'd be happy to do that when I come with the movie to your town.
I remember that night very well. Getting home quite late from a job where I worked the late shift. Turned on the tube in a sleepy twilight stupor and thought “That looks like Tom Brokaw. But why are those people behind him dancing on the Berlin Wall? Hey, wait a minute...”
Sounds like a Toni Fisher moment is coming up. I posted this the other day

which makes me an official blog pimp!
I’ll keep an eye out for the Philadelphia area showing. Perhaps something can be arranged.
A film about music’s part in bringing down the wall? It was all Hasselhoff!
