If people would wake up and see what is happening to them/us they would make it their life work to see these ineffective slugs that supposedly represent us would become unemployed free agents ASAP.
Main trouble is the ‘cancer’ that has been imposed on the rest of us, mainly because the only ‘real’ work these clowns do is ensure their own well being.
Any ‘body’ that sees fit to give themselves a ‘raise’ every year UNLESS they vote it down, gives themselves a health care plan that makes the Unions look mediocre in comparison, then vote to take funds from those wounded in action while enhancing their own positions does NOT deserve the respect of the people they are supposedly ‘representing’.
These are the same people that continue to raise taxes on the WORKING in order to continue giving money to the NON WORKING, regardless of how they attained that status.
I am convinced at this point that we are in another full blown depression. “We” just can’t see it yet as we are at the cusp of it (maybe in the middle) with the worst yet to come before anything can get better.
That reminds me of a line from “Spinal Tap,” when the manager is asked if the bands popularity is waning. He replies, “Oh, no, no, no. It’s just that their appeal is becoming more selective.”
Wait... So if Reid thinks 2.3 million Americans involuntarily losing their jobs is a good thing because they become “free agents” and gets them “out of a job they’re locked into”, then shouldn’t that miserable little Marxist also be in favor of dissolving his beloved unions for these very same reasons??
In my view separating employment from health “insurance” is a very good thing. That was a bad policy that began with WW2 wage controls.
What did Hillary say about taxes? Something like your contribution?
I’m all for decoupling health insurance from employment ... it would make people more responsible for their health care spending.
But the government subsidizing the premiums will do the exact opposite
More people can decide to be artists or photographers ... according to Nancy Pelosi!
“is positive because it lets Americans be free agents.
Free would mean they could with hold their custom in the matter of insurance until some entity met THEIR requirements; but that isn’t the case is it feckHarry?

No question about it... I completely reject all the financial pundits who absurdly claim this so-called “economic recovery” is poised to get stronger. I don’t see how we’re going to possibly avoid another major economic collapse between now and the end of Hussein Obama’s second term. The facist, anti-capitalistic, left-wing Keynesian economic policies currently in place are simply unworkable and unsustainable and I think things are about to get MUCH worse.
Forget about unions.
ALL Gubmint employees should become ‘free agents’ too. Then they are FREE to live their lives, and “allows people to get out of a job theyre locked into”. (real shuddering scary thought!)
There is a way.
But, it’s really hard.
It’s called VOTING THE BUMS OUT!!!
I want whatever he’s smoking.
Lets repay the IDIOTS of Nevada and boycott the state. We can make them some of Harry’s free agents.
And many more now have job lock because of Obamacare. If you haven’t lost your insurance yet and its good insurance, you’re not going to change move or change jobs. And if you’re fortunate you like your job, even if you sometimes dream of doing something else, somewhere else, you know it’s impossible because of Obamacare.
This is the most flagrant attempt to put a high shine on a turd.
See this.
I think he meant ‘free loaders’.
We are living George Orwell's 1984.
I think the phrase is “unsigned free agents”.
