For sure, the Democrat Party is funded by the 1%, and the middle class counts on the Republican Party to defend it from raiding putatively by a majority consisting of everyone but white men.But as has been seen more and more clearly, the Republican Party isn’t as enthusiastic about that mission as we have wanted to believe.

The goal of socialism is to destroy the dictatorship of the middle class. Wherever you see an absence of a strong middle class you’ll find socialist policies.
Socialists hate the middle class because they resist the revolution. Marx and every communist before (think French Revolution) and after him has always pointed the gun at the middle class. They’re not simple worker drones.
