Under Obama, Poor, Middle Class Incomes Fall Sharply
http://news.investors.com/100212-627662-under-obama-poor-middle-class-incomes-fall-sharply.aspx
From 1948-2008 our country had 39 TOTAL months of unemployment national average above 8%.
Under Obama, weve had 43 CONSECUTIVE months over 8%.
so the eff what? Those who have jobs are today’s rich. The rest are living gummint check to gummint check. I have always hated that stupid “oh me oh my it’s so shocking, they have no money left til the next paycheck” line of crap. What the aich is wrong with living paycheck to paycheck?
Every article that states the truth about the reality of Obamanomics, also has to have an intro that says something like “despite the robust economy....”. The media is a joke.
The automobile has a lot to do with this. Most people take any increase in monthly income as a trigger to make an identical increase in the monthly payments for a higher status car.
Don’t they mean “persistent economic insecurity’? Get a proofreader.
And the other half is split: 75% live on the government dole, and the remainder live no-paycheck to no-paycheck.
Well past time to walk back the progressive, socialist pogroms that started with the New Deal and got us to today’s “New Steal”. Unleash the economic might of this grand experiment. Get fedgov back within its Constitutional authority. Move all social assistance back to local entities.
It’s still not too late (I pray).
Yet they will somehow have “extra” money to put into MyRA.
And to think GOP’s top priority is Amnesty!
Crazy is the best word I can come up with.
>> ObamaRA
Sounds like an Egyptian Pharaoh. I think Obama the Great will be proud of that.
Needs a hyphen: “Obama-Ra”
and this is a problem? If you lose your job, you have unemployment benefits extended indefinitely, ObamaCare and expanded Medicaid for healthcare, food stamps for sustenance, and Social Security for retirement.
When you are getting a guaranteed government check every month, there is no reason not to live paycheck to paycheck.
Not enough good jobs out there for people, so they have to resort to low paying ‘McJobs’ instead. They live paycheck to paycheck because they try to maintain a 1st world lifestyle on such low wages. High cost of living keeps those with lower wages financially depressed. Once you consider everything, being on .gov handouts with a little under the table cash from odd jobs probably pays better.
On the other hand, high cost of living hurts those with higher wages, causing even those families to live paycheck-to-paycheck when you factor in all of the expensive ‘toys’ that people “MUST” buy(the latest iGadget, games/game systems, 4 smartphones in the family, and 2-3 high car payments....ect....ect).
