The “memo” mentions that his “wife” is going to attend UW “next” semester, the memo is allegedly written at the end of August but she was allegedly already enrolled by then.
It seems to me that the Memo has some added information which attempts to answer questions which could be raised by a form bearing the same date:
On which he initially wrote the name of a wife and then crossed it out - the name is now shown as Ann S Dunham, which in person, imo would be the same as Ann S Obama whose name appears in the Polk for Honolulu 1961-1962. This might well have been the student enrolled at the U of HI as Ann S Obama,from the Fall of 1960, it's the first example of how Ann, whose maiden name we do not know, was blended with Stanley Ann, of whom there's no physical evidence of her presence on the island, she first shows up on the island in 1963.
The possible added information on that memo, which would have contained what the INS needed to know, comes after 'plans to return to Kenya'. I think they needed that addition, it's the only thing that ties the file together with the rest of the story...so the question is, when was that crucial detail added?
The first time we hear of Stanley Ann being called Ann and Anna is also a paragraph in 'Dreams' in which there's a lengthy conversation between the Dunham couple, the kenyan and Stanley Ann. It's so obvioulsy contrived to show us that she was called by BOTH Ann and Anna, it's laughable. In the same conversation, her father calls her Ann and the kenyan calls her Anna.
It wasn't until I saw an article out of Kenya from 2004 iirc, in which one of the clan tells the interviewer that the kenyan had gone to the US and married a woman named Anna Toot, that I realized why that paragraph was written. And why they called Madelyn 'Toot' btw. (Not tutu which is some form of endearment used for an elder sister or an aunt, from what I can tell.)
That 'Toot' in the article out of Africa has been the only clue to what that woman's surname might have been.
It's been established that the first semester at the U of WA commenced September 25. The very dubious transcript from the U of WA shows the commencement date as 19 September, the original date assumed by some reports was a mistake due to damage to the copy, it's now been established that the commencement date on the transcript is actually Septmerber 19. Still six days before commencement, but that's the best we could do and there aren't any explanations forthcoming...
Of course the discovery of Anna Obama in the 1961 Polk for Seattle is what Charlette Le Fevre from the Seattle Mystery Museum (bigfoot, UFO's, walking tours of the rich and famous of Seattle) explained is what caused her to telephone the famous baby-sitter in Alaska, who volunteered that yes, she had babysat for Anna when her own daughter, who was born in July 1959, was 18 months of age.
Charlette wrote that up in an article for a Seattle publication as Mary babysat the potus in early 1962, and no one noticed that if you add 18 months to July 1959 you get January 1961.
The transcript was subsequently sent by e-mail to Corsi iirc, and the name was shown as OBAMA Stanley Ann Dunham, including the detail that she was a class of 1960 graduate from Mercer Island. (Something that hasn't been established other than by anecdotes from some devoted 'classmates'.
The form states he is married but with a “legal separation”. But he was allegedly divorced by then.
It would seem that before the information was 'tweaked' to follow the narrative of 'Dreams', Anna Obama, left high and dry in Seattle, after discussing with the Salvation Army the possible adoption of her child in APRIL 1961, may have returned or moved to the Philippines, something he informed the INS of and noted in a subsequent memo.
It seems to me that someone discovered a trail for Ann/Anna in Washington and had to try and tie that trail to SAD. Meaning they didn’t get rid of all the evidence of Ann/Anna.
There are examples of the blending of two women throughout the saga, but that Seattle episode must have created some problems, there was not a hint of Seattle up until then, someone goofed, they must have thought they had dealt with the problem of ANN/ANNA and didn't take into account she might have appeared in the Polk directory as a result of moving into what was basically a boarding house.
When Charlette Le Fevre wrote 'Mary called her Anna, and that's how we knew she was Stanley Ann Dunham' I laughed - she never gave Mary a chance to identify the woman or the child, which btw, Mary never named. Later, when the discrepancies began to show, they adjusted the story to say that Mary didn't babysit until February 1962 and the child was seven months old. But Anna Obama isn't in the Seattle Polk FOR 1962...and so it goes...
We have a Anne identified in a picture with the Kenyan student who appears to be from the Philippines, (this is an assumption) but we also have SAD looking for an emergency passport renewal to go to the Philippines in March of ‘86, we have no record of her actually going there but what would be her need to get there on an urgent basis?
The girl he is shown sitting next to at the Nachmannof's has been identied as a Japanese student. I've forgotten her name at the moment. SAD's emergency trip to the Philippines in 1986 which she then postponed for a month, remains a mystery. As does the identity of ANNA.
Her child, which she most likely named after the father, would seem to have a bio all of his own. It seems he ended up with his father and stepmother Ruth in Kenya, and they called him David.
