That explanation of the mysterious Christmas visit by Sr. has made the best sense of any I’ve read. They had to prove who he was, but no one in Indonesia would claim him, for whatever reason.

Is there any documentation whatsoever of the child’s name prior to the Christmas visit, other than the Barry Soetoro school record in Indonesia and “Soebarkah”? Might Sr’s odd return have been the first time the boy used the Obama name?

Now there's an interesting, thought provoking question...you'll recall that his kindergarten records have been 'lost' and the kindergarten teacher maintains she wrote the names of the children on the back of the group image, but she didn't show us the back of the photograph, (not that that would have been proof of anything, if his image was added later. So then we have the curious entry at the school in Indonesia, in January 1968 for Grade One as Soetoro.

And later, in August that same year, the name BHO2 Soebarkah is crossed out on a passport amendement.

The first time we see the name Barry Obama seems to be from the period of the photographs supplied on Bartons Blog, I no longer have the URL, I'll see if I can find it again.

Here’s what the kindergarten teachers had to say. But neither Scott Inoue or ELeanour Nordyke, both of whose children are shown in that kindergarten class, acknowledged the image...to date, that I know of.
