WASHINGTON (AP) President Barack Obama will issue a call for expanding economic opportunity in his State of the Union address. He'll press a divided Congress to help shrink the income gap between the rich and poor, while asserting that he will take action on his own if lawmakers don't.

Yup, heard Rush talk about that during one show this week. Three more years before we are rid of this cancer.
He has succeeded in completely destroying our economy in 5 years...and now he wants focus on economic opportunity? which opportunity? the part time jobs that a chunk of the GNP is falling back on because businesses cant pay for insurance? or the jobless that do not exist anymore because once they stop looking for work, they no longer count....
I usually watch it because I like to see what the enemy is up to but I don’t think i can do it this year.

Good point! I’ve seen a couple of articles about Holiday spending being down.
I live in one of the burbs and there are some conservative or at least conservative-leaning folks, but Seattle is overwhelmingly Lib/Socialist. Look who they just voted in on the Seattle City Council (Communist) and “Bagdad” Jim McDermott (can’t stand him!) is the Rep.

Just heard on Fox & Friends Obummer is going to use “Ladder of Opportunity” instead of “income inequality” (they said it must have focus group tested better.
