While I agree with much of the social analysis in the article I don't buy in to this statement. I think Obama claimed to be a Christian and attended an uber-liberal "christian" church merely for the social and political benifits he thought it would bring. I think he is a cultural muslim and practical atheist. Merely my opinion.
For what it is worth, my parish priest thinks the exact same thing.
I concur with your opinion. I think that in these days the love of many will cool and there will be, there is currently, a great falling away.
I recommend reading Jonathan Edwards, starting with, perhaps,”Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.”
” the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound in the world”. BHO. And.. “ my Muslim faith “. BHO. And a his support for Muslim terrorists all around the world. And his consistent contempt fir , and attacks on, Christians and Jews. And his big now to the Saudi king, defender of Islam and guardian of Mecca. And his dr ret I station of many Muslim agents Into our American government including security related posts. . And his funding g and arming of islamoNazi terrorists And and and and and. (AND he eats dogs! So there!!!!!). Sounds like a wonderful loving brand of Christianity. Where do I sign up? / s
Obama’s “religion” isn’t defined as much by what it is as by what he’s against - real Biblical Christianity.
He knows only enough about Christianity to be able to mimic it when he needs to. Which was enough to fool some people for a while. But once people got a look at Reverend Wright they knew that neither the Reverend nor Obama himself were Christians. Not even close.
He is a communist, and a muslim atheist. It may sound like there is a contradiction in there but there is no contradiction. The apparent contradictions are who he is.
That was NOT a liberal Christian church.
A better description would be “Black Muslim Christianity.”
The pastor was a Black Muslim, before he decided he could get a bigger congregation by calling himself “Christian.” They welcomed members who were not baptized, and they welcomed Muslims as “members” as well.
No question that Obama is a Muslim, by every standard that Muslims follow. And there is NO EVIDENCE that he was ever baptized.
In Dreams of My Father Barack Obama bragged about smoking reefer, drinking beer and enthusiastically doing drugs.
Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them, like this quote from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out - we have a lot of work to do.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.
My other personal concern is the evil entities behind the fool.
OBAMA’S CHURCH: GOSPEL OF HATE

The racist heresy of Black Liberation Theology.

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to “Black Liberation Theology”...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of “salvation” in the afterlife is superseded by “liberation” on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.
Obama’s brand of religion is “ Black Marxist Liberation Theology.”
THE REAL STORY BEHIND REV. WRIGHT’S CONTROVERSIAL “ BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY” DOCTRINE.
FoxNews/Hannity’s America
airdate May 2, 2008]
(some key excerpts)
[”(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro’s first wife.”
JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: “Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980’s was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That’s it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-’80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That’s all I know. I was there.
I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about ‘the evil empire’ which was the United States of America.”
REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: “it’s based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright’s] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That’s very, very dangerous.”
SCHENCK: “I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point.”

At best, Obama subscribes to a malevolent form of pseudo Christianity called liberation theology. It is all about revolution and redistribution, manipulating the masses to destroy the status quo of economic freedom. Liberation Theology was specifically developed to radicalize peaceful Christian populations, and turn them into militants. Black Liberation Theology is a fine tuned, American directed version that uses race agitation instead of class agitation.

Excellent.
Good read. Thanks for posting.

The above three-part article written in 2008 by Alexander LaBrecque at American Thinker are the most comprehensive, best analysis of Obama’s religious ruse. They are long but well worth the time.
In case many don’t know, Michael Youssef is the founding pastor of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. He was an episcopal priest who left the Episcopal Church in a dispute over the ordination of practicing homosexuals to the priesthood. He was born in Egypt to Presbyterian parents who fled the country.
So, he is a Christian who was raised in a Muslim country, as is Obama.
He’s no Christian. He’s an atheist, marxist, middle-eastern-cult-loving opportunist.
Obama Christian...ROFLMTO!
>>I recommend reading Jonathan Edwards, starting with, perhaps,Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.<<
Good recommendation. Not to be confused with John Edwards, aka “Silky Pony.”
I knew a guy who publicly threatened in 2008 all of his friends on social media that he would never speak to them again if they said Obama was a muslim. He was adamant that Obama was a Christian. The person himself is an atheist. See how screwed up Obama voters are?
He is no believer, to be sure. However, he sent out an email to his “Christian” followers, letting them know he needed their support because we fanatical/radical/extremist Christians were saying he was not a believer, that his actions didn’t line up with Biblical principles. BooHoo, and so on. My sister, an Obama supporter, believes in him, believes he is misjudged and that we are going to be judged for not believing in him (Obama). We already know how he was coached in christian terminology so he could get his answers right. We know by the fruit of his works that he is not a true believer!
I think that’s one “friend” I could do without. It’s very hard to maintain a relationship with someone who is so blindly irrational.
