As a 2008 candidate salivating after the highest office in the land, he tried to convince voters his blackness was of no consequence.
He made dam sure voters knew he was half-white---photographs with his white grandparents popped up allover.

Obama has used race all his life.
The problem is, he a mulatto, or a “high yaller” as some of my black friends called those of mixed blood who held themselves above the 100% blacks.
Remember when the Left was criticizing Bush’s appointment of Gen. Powell because “he wasn’t black enough” (NBE)? Secy. Rice also caught flak for a similar reason. Any black appointed by Republicans is either an Uncle Tom or NBE.
Now that a mixed blood had become president, suddenly he’s “black enough”. In fact, he’s SO black, that he suffers the prejudice against the real blacks that still linger in some areas and therefore deserve some slack.
The Left has become so predictable.
