I been married 25 years. It went from choclate and roses to a slap on the hind quarters and last one upstairs gets the defib paddles.

Congratulations on making it 25 years and keeping the romance!

The charming and delightful Mrs. USC and I have been married twenty-seven and a half years (after dating on/off for 6 years prior.) There's much to be said for keeping up the romance and constantly "winning your wife's heart" over along with a hefty dose of humor to sustain a marriage.

I'm sure anyone who's read my posts over the years I've been here on FR (since October 1998 IIRC) certainly knows that Mrs. USC must have one heck of a sense of humor to put up with me! ;-)
