Of possible interest, and the price is certainly right!

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

While I believe one should both try to prevent infections of all kinds and also not allow doctors to give you antibiotics for viruses,
ANTIBIOTICS CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE
If you have the flu and it turns to pneumonia, or if you have surgery.

ABSOLUTELY! Still, it is nice to have more than one tool in one’s toolbox...

Easy. Just don’t get sick.
Most people get sick because they are under-nourished. They are not providing the body the means to fight off viruses.

There is a whole section on essential oils...
That being said, I listened to this guy last night and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of anti-bacterials used before the penicillin era as well as some stillborn in all the excitement over the new wonder drugs.

Please—The gentleman to whom you refer so disparagingly is a “prominent alternative MD.”
(Probably doesn’t make too much dough in that gig so he has to hawk a sky-is-falling-type book.)

I make a daily berry smoothie. A cup or two of berries, mixed with a glass of milk and a little protein powder.

I just finished an old book about WWI...pre-penicillin. They used garlic juice on the wounds! Louis Pasteur had discovered that garlic juice killed germs. Blew my mind, but I’ll sure remember it.

Lemon grass oil smells good too! If properly contained, oils have an extremely long shelf life, whereas pharmaceuticals have short short expiration dates.

Certainly. I sleep better and just feel better. I also have more energy throughout the day.
If you do it right, it only takes 5 minutes a day to make one. With a couple of slices of bread, you have breakfast.
