But the deal now is that they are all using *polar vortex* as the new *beat the drum* buzz word du jour. Just last winter, a polar vortex was called an Alberta Clipper. Last time the term was in the news (that I recall) was in the late 70's. Clear back when global cooling was the big fear. 20 below here the last two nights and impassable roads. Ready to get out and about here!
