Sort of like LBJ’s war on poverty. I love to ask liberals about that when they start whining .... “how’s that 2-5 trillion dollar war on poverty working out .... no poverty anymore .... right”?
In reality; no. but that does not mean they are willing to give up the fight.
The US has the fattest poor people in the world. Most of our poor people have televisions, refrigerators, telephones, air-conditioning and many other luxuries.
But ask a liberal and they will tell you that poverty is rampant in this evil capitalist country.
