IF the monopoly was busted up on entertainment (labels, tv/radio stations, magazines, etc. all being pwned by a few interests) AND payola (which has existed in every decade SINCE it was federally investigated in the 50s) was prosecuted, there MAY be more accountability from the “media” to actually respond to market forces and public tastes.
