“I have seen women do plenty of pullups, but they have to focus on doing it. They must do exercises that focus on this movement. And it is a very important movement indeed because when you need to get over a wall, its not a pushup movement that gets you up and over, its a pullup.”
Thanks, for your service first and your input.
My observations re women unable to do pull ups is limited and based on relatives, neighbors, friends and friends of our immediate family.
That small and diverse group has some exceptional female athletes from sports, gymnastics to cheerleading, and none have been able to do a single pull up. Probably the best athlete in the group is a young woman now. She was great in dancing, gymnastics and track. She was one of the first women to wrestle in high school, in this area, and she mainly wrestled against guys. Many of whom, she beat with pins or a lot of points. She could never do a single pull up, and she still can’t in spite being in great shape.
What age was that girl wrestling at. Wow good for her but ...are we raising a bunch of Pajama boys?
Oh well, every generation befuddles the last.
signed....befuddled.
