There are no magical solutions to this countries problems. No one has them, not Rush or Levin, certainly not Obama. Maybe you weren't meaning to imply that there were but we need to make that clear at start.
Step 1 : No more counterproductive shutdowns, the last one was designed to lose as it did.
Step 2 : On Obamacare. You will see less and less attempts to totally repeal Obamacare at once simply because it will be seen as taking away peoples health care.
Bachmann had a great idea, best I heard so far.
GOP should make the case to repeal all Obamacare mandates except for policies in the exchanges. Leave those for the uninsured. Let them compete with policies with no mandates. Call it the ‘Freedom to choose the insurance you need’ act.
It keeps Obamacare cancelling good policies on the front burner. GOP should look like they want to reverse that.

My other suggestion, try to enjoy 2014 knowing that Dems will take a licking,
I remember 2009 and 2010 and my knowing Dems would take a beating 2010. So I made sure I could make the best out of seeing Dems suffer.
I recall Rush telling his listeners that 2012 would be another 2010 and knowing that would not happen. I knew it would be a disaster while others were stuck on wishful thinking
So like in 2010, make the best of Dems pain all through 2014,
We cant tell what will happen after that, this early. So enjoy the moment,
Enjoy Dems suffering as they deserve to, nothing is life is forever.
