This is going to hit the Northeast hard. S&S is one of the bigger chains up there, and if the union manages to kill it it’s going to put a significant dent in the population of grocery stores.
However, Big Y, Price Chopper, and Shaws are going to love it, because it’ll mean more business for them.
Looks like this will only affect parts of NY and Long Island. I don’t see any negotiations in MA/RI/CT.
