Whoa SF is getting pounded. Just read an article about some CEO in that Silicon Valley who did tell the truth about it becoming a cesspool. What he seemed to have left out if it weren’t for people like him being liberals had a lot to do with this. Karma’s a you know what.

A friend of mine just had a son graduate from Berkeley with an engineering degree. He's now working for a start-up in the Bay Area and making good money.

Of course he spent his time mostly studying and just hanging out with his fellow engineers so didn't spend a lot of time in Berkeley "proper".

You can go into the belly of the beast and come out OK so long as you stay away from the acid.

Thank yu Robin I studied at Berkeley many years ago. It was a top notch engineering school then. I would never go there now. You are right about the the rotten conditions there now.

I have to admit that I found Berkeley to be an entertaining zoo, but my knowledge of the place is out of date. The creeping darkness does not surprise me. Berkeley is all about the left, and the leftist dream has turned into a nightmare.
