If you have celiac disease then a wheat Christmas cookie could put you in bed for more than a day. I have a niece who has been violently sickened for a week by supposed gluten-free food she has eaten at restaurants. She has to do a lot of traveling for her job, and after experiencing this a number of times, she now packs all her food when she is on the road.

MSG and high fructose corn syrup does it for me, especially MSG. I have had bread at a restaurant and just shutdown and had a headache for the rest of the dinner. I now just have meat and potatoes and vegi’s.
