The beauty of Linux is that you’re not stuck on a particular UI.

Full disclosure: I use Ubuntu Server 12.04 which does not have a GUI, and I’m on Ubuntu 10.04 for desktop using Gnome.

As soon as I am more comfy with using the console, I will probably go back to the simpler system myself..
