“for less tech folks”.... Understood... I always recommend Mint for the Win crossovers (I tried so many packages of Linux for the past decade and 1/2... Mint, finally won me over..) ... ask them to run live from Cinn or Mate... if they like them, I move them toward KDE... but, Linux is a wide open world, and we have to make sure that they all know that there IS another option... and it is their choice ;^)
The biggest drawback of Fedora IMO, is lack of A/V codecs. You have to know to add the rpmfusion repositories to get all that stuff. From what I understand, Mint pretty much covers the A/V stuff pretty well doesn’t it?
