Conservatives lose for lots of reasons.

One of them is that people, as demonstrated on this thread, throw them under the bus for the most stupid reasons possible when they should know better.

I don't think it's stupid to question Cruz here. We, at least I, don't know him that well to let this go unanswered. He is a very intelligent, articulate man. He should have no problem explaining his actions. I'd say it could even be an opportunity to win over some who til now would not consider voting for him.
