It’s far worse than just being a detriment to the economy. The government now controls EVERY aspect of our lives. The jackboot lickers at CBS were saying “the government” will enact mandates that will force “unhealthy” people to pay more into the faceless “system.” Conservatives likely to be deemed mentally unstable.

There was a psychology ethics article written in 2005 [Sharav, V. (2005). Screening for Mental Illness: The Merger of Eugenics and the Drug Industry. Ethical Human Psychology & Psychiatry, 7(2), 111-124.]

Opening statement:

“The implementation of a recommendation by the President’s New Freedom Commission (NFC) to screen the entire United States population—children first—for presumed, undetected,
mental illness is an ill-conceived policy destined for disastrous consequences. The “pseudoscientific” methods used to screen for mental and behavioral abnormalities are a
legacy from the discredited ideology of eugenics” (Sharav, 2005).

There is also the death panels that are under the control of the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).

“[Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act]PPACA gives the USPSTF’s recommendations the force of law, making them de facto mandates on which preventive services private health plans and public programs such as Medicare must pay for. Services that do not make the USPSTF grade are unlikely to be covered at all. The USPSTF was not designed to wield this kind of sweeping and binding authority. It does not maintain the transparency, deliberative process, appeal process, or requirements for public notice and comment that are hallmarks of sound regulatory policymaking. Moreover, because the USPSTF has few guidelines governing its function, it has great flexibility to adapt its criteria and grow its mandate in ways that may conflict with political goals and public sentiment and lead to unintended consequences.”

And we are worried about Sharia law, all they need to do is set the standard in the administration.
