The Hannity hour only discussed the tip of the Obama problem that threatens this country and only that part that is palatable and non-controversial.

Nothing was mentioned of foreign policy, Islam and sharia, Benghazi, exemption of ObamaCare and other items that smell of corruption.

It was a pretty good touchy-feely get together.

Why do they want to force us into violence? Maybe its time to have some old west justice brought back into our justice system.

*******
More likely to be widespread apathy than any kind of violence. Most Americans are stuck to the couch and tethered to the TV. The only thing they get up for is to pick up their monthly government check from the mailbox and to go get their carry-out pizza. Contrary to the hopes of Thomas Jefferson, TPTB don’t fear the people and have no need to.

You’re right, MLK is a good example. He had a vision and was willing to do whatever it took to make it a reality. He was totally committed to that.

IMHO we need someone like him who is willing to take it to the streets, directly challenge TPTB, and be willing to pay the high personal price to do it. Its a lot to expect of someone. But agree with you that exceptional leadership is needed to rally people.

> enjoy this christmas, because in 2014 no one will be able to afford to purchase anything that is a christmas present

I think for a lot of us it’s going to start this year. It will be for me. I will get something for my wife and a few grandchildren but it won’t be very much because I can bately make the mortgage payment and the electric and able to afford gas as it is. Its never been like this before. I’m not whining just stating the facts. I know many of you are in the same boat because of the AC in the WH who’s living quite high on the hog with a blank checkbook.

There was a psychology ethics article written in 2005 [Sharav, V. (2005). Screening for Mental Illness: The Merger of Eugenics and the Drug Industry. Ethical Human Psychology & Psychiatry, 7(2), 111-124.]

Opening statement:

“The implementation of a recommendation by the President’s New Freedom Commission (NFC) to screen the entire United States population—children first—for presumed, undetected,
mental illness is an ill-conceived policy destined for disastrous consequences. The “pseudoscientific” methods used to screen for mental and behavioral abnormalities are a
legacy from the discredited ideology of eugenics” (Sharav, 2005).

There is also the death panels that are under the control of the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).

“[Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act]PPACA gives the USPSTF’s recommendations the force of law, making them de facto mandates on which preventive services private health plans and public programs such as Medicare must pay for. Services that do not make the USPSTF grade are unlikely to be covered at all. The USPSTF was not designed to wield this kind of sweeping and binding authority. It does not maintain the transparency, deliberative process, appeal process, or requirements for public notice and comment that are hallmarks of sound regulatory policymaking. Moreover, because the USPSTF has few guidelines governing its function, it has great flexibility to adapt its criteria and grow its mandate in ways that may conflict with political goals and public sentiment and lead to unintended consequences.”

And we are worried about Sharia law, all they need to do is set the standard in the administration.

"Fairness" uber alles! Even if it kills the economy and reduces millions to welfare cases.

The ObamaCare Sledgehammer is about to deal a crippling blow to the healthcare-insurance industry.

If health-insurance companies thought they could double their premiums from one year to the next, they’d have done so years ago. But they knew they’d go bankrupt if they did. Now the Obama administration is forcing them to go bankrupt.

The insurance companies CAN double their premiums if citizens are forced to purchase the product under threat of incarceration.

They won't go bankrupt. You can bet the actuarials have calculated the cost of insuring the poor and taking pre-existing conditions. In fact, the insurance companies have placed that bet.

I suspect, if it even looks like they'll go under, the government will bail them out with their (our) magic money.

A financial network would have to be present before a “MLK” could stand up for the right. Consider how MLK, and his family, was supported by people all over the world. All his expenses were taken care of. His income was secure.

He couldn’t have done anything without others providing the finances. I wonder if we could garner up enough support for one of our own to speak for us? We have trouble getting enough to keep FR alive and kicking. Just saying..........

Good point. I sometimes wonder how Sarah Palin can afford her travels around the country. I assume she must get speaking fees and some coverage of expenses, but no question, it has to be a financial challenge for those without significant means.

I also wonder how generous the Republican apparatus would be toward someone who doesn’t tow the party line? Tea Party types are clearly not in the “circle of trust”. lol

When I came back to Phoenix metro area last year, the housing boom was going. It was hard to find a house. I settled on a pretty modest, 1 story 2600 sq. footer --knowing that the calamity was coming with Obamacare and the EPA, and the future was very uncertain. Sure, I was tempted to get more and could have but I resisted.

Let me tell ya---the boom has only intensified in the last 1 8 months. Huge, huge houses are going up all around me. 3800, 4200 and 4500 square footers. All, now, going for what is very close to the prices before the collapse. These huge houses are HOT boxes all year and opposed to a single story need cooling 10 months out of the year. In the very hot summer months a 4k square foot house with a pool pump will easily run $900-$1000 a month to cool and run the pool.

And I just keep saying to myself-these people have NO clue what is about to hit them.

This housing ‘boom’ amazes me too.

Another thing I find amazing is the number of commercial sites that are being developed.

America is headed for an Obama-sized disaster!
