Years ago a good friend's parents were active in a large Catholic Church. Until one Sunday, the Bishop held a sermon that was more like a pep rally for the Sandanistas and Danny Ortega, to say that went over like a fart in church(no pun intended) is an understatement. They dumped that church like a bad habit.
