I'm thinking seriously about moving to the Keys....I have a Melges C-Scow...but know near nothing about sailing anything bigger in the oceans. Radar, weather, auto-pilot, depth finders, logistics, etc..etc...

Matt....do you have any suggestions about schools...that I could contact down there?

FRegards,

Get on some of the sailing message boards and look for a “crew wanted” subsection...let them know you`re inexperienced but willing, help them move a boat somewhere while you absorb. Learning vacation.

If you can sail, you can sail, so don’t worry about sailing bigger stuff. Bigger is much easier (except for docking).
