Yep, God speed and good luck to them. If we account ourselves well when the time comes, it will be very worth while.
Thanks, Osage!
Start with the beer and the bimini, you will need them while arranging the wind vane.
Wow, high praise, thanks!
You can sail from Florida to South America with nothing but a compass. That’s enough, more is better but not required.
Go find one particular pebble in the desert. I’ll give you a picture of the pebble, and you have one hour.
That’s finding a boat on the ocean.
That one’s easy - “Straight south” (with maybe a detour around Cuba).

Matt, you may take full credit for that line. I stand on the shoulders of a giant. Matt Bracken is an American treasure. Anybody who hasn’t read every word he’s published is a cityfied unamerican moronic pansy.
The gulfstar is a solid boat. I did a lot of work to it over the past couple years. New rigging, roller furling, canvas, full batten loose footed main and mizzen, new genny. I like the ketch rig. A lot of great deals out there now. A friend of mine just picked up a 1997 Hallberg-Rassey 46 for $180k. The boat sold for $340 two years ago.
Thanks
Im thinking my wife and I might need a bigger boat in order to get along... Is the Queen Mary available?
I could trade ya my Harley and an old Volvo
I’m blushing.
I am the 3%.
