When I was a young boy, LBJ made my skin crawl. I could never explain why. It is considered common amoung Plains and Rocky Mountain tribes that some young children are given a gift to discern evil deceivers. It was suggested by some of my tribal elders at the time that I had that gift. I do not know, but I cannot foget how LBJ made me feel.
Interesting comment. My husband on the night before JFK was murdered, as were watching JFK and his group prepare to leave Houston, made a comment that I will never forget.
He said “ I hope he gets out of Houston because someone is going to kill him and I don’t want it to happen in Houston”.
He didn’t want it to happen anyplace but especially not in his city.
