I live in a very small community. The National Guard armory has always been accessible from the street, kids play there, dogs poop there, and TODAY I saw where the whole armory is now encircled with an eight foot cyclone fence with razor wire. This was certainly something to say “ Whoaaaa” about. Something’s in the wind, comrades.

I can see the armory clearly in Google maps — no fence.

Describe what you saw, please.

The local sheriff station and jail is installing a bank of 30 solar panels. Guess they are worried about losing power.

A fence around the armory. I don’t have a digital camera, but I go by it EVERY day. I did not go around to the back, only off 5th st. It wasn’t there yesterday at 0700.

The images in Google maps can be several years old.

You cannot depend on Google street view for recent updates on structures. A friend of mine sent me a screen shot when I was pulled up to my mailbox talking to a neighbor. That was 3 years ago.
I still owned my 2002 Honda then.
