Western Civilization has defeated many, many, many other evils as well!
Western Civilization, Colonialism and Christianity did some bad things. They have also done some very, very, very good things. In balance, the good FAR outweighs the bad.
Not also that the absence of Western Colonialism and Christianity has allowed a recrudescence of kuru in Syria. This is no accident.
Muslims have contributed greatly to the world through many ingenious inventions and discoveries.
