Chris Matthews' idea of a promo for his show immediately goes to race-baiting and instilling fear in the hearts of African American voters.
Hey Reince! Didn't you start a 36 state effort to suppress the black vote? I wouldn't call anybody the culture of hatred.
During tonight's Hardball with Chris Matthews the host sarcastically called GOP Chairman Reince Priebus a "genius" during a promo for an upcoming segment.
After the commercial break, the segment pulled a clip from an episode of Priebus on Hannity saying President Obama has created a culture of hatred.
Matthews spent the entire segment talking about what he deemed GOP voter suppression - basic voter ID laws - calling the laws - wildly popular across racial and party lines - 'exclusion and division.'
Saying that Obama can't fight back, Matthews mentioned the movie 42 about baseball legend Jackie Robinson declaring that in the movie, Robinson's biggest challenge was also not fighting back.
Comparing Obama to Robinson, Matthew's stated:
I imagine what it was like for the President of the United States to watch that in the family... tv... in the movie theatre... I'm sure he did, and watch the guy, and he must've said to himself a thousand times in an hour and a half, 'That's what I do every day."
I agree, Chris. It’s simply not fair to hold the negro up to the white man’s standards. After all, that’s what this is about, isn’t it.
Why does Rancid Prius go on a show where he KNOWS he’s going to be ambushed and called a Klan member?
Why isn’t Chris bemoaning the Rev. E.W. Jackson’s election loss. Dey keepin’ duh bruthah down.
