The HHS internal forecast is 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance due to the Obamacare law and rules . . .

Raise your hand if you remember that the key rationale for ramming this POS bolus down the public throat was because we had 30 million uninsured Americans.

all that will do is drive prospective doctors into other fields and then they can bring in are their non English speaking ME male doctors who think female patients are lower than their camels. Just had a run in with one of them, he talked to my husband who could not answer his questions, and is use to language issues cause he is a ret. prof. as well as Ret. SCPO. But he would not talk to me the patient.

Wasn’t there a buried provision of obamacare making doctors liable to be impressed into service for the govt?
(err “nationalized”?)

http://patdollard.com/2009/10/indentured-servitude-doctors-will-be-drafted-under-obamacare-with-video/

anyone who attended a govt funded school or got a govt funded or guaranteed loan could end up as a govt employee?

when humans become a “resource’ to be controlled by the govt

Democrats in Virginia will drive up health care costs, drive doctors out of the state, and then drive health care costs up even more because there will not be enough doctors practicing in the state.

Easy problem to resolve. Make all medical practitioners and their families wear tracking devices. Never allow doctors to vacation with tier families out of state. Then we can cut the pay of greedy doctors and make them live in government supplied housing units. /s

When people start to balk at progressive nostrums you can bet the farm that the left will reach for forced compliance as the next step. Soon, the gulags and Holomodor.

Well, it’s come full circle, and is out in the open. The Dems are now officially calling for the re-institution of slavery. Only now, instead of picking cotton, the slaves will check you blood pressure and give you a colonoscopy.

Kathleen Murphy, Democrat running for the House of Delegates against Barbara Comstock, telling a forum in Great Falls that she believes it should law to force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid patients. Forced by government decree, mind you.

She did not recognize that the payments are inadequate to cover the doctors' costs. She also did not recognize there is a shortage of over 45,000 physicians now and that it is forecast to be 90,000 in a few years.

Ms. Murphy went on to say that she believes doctors should not be allowed to move away from their current place of practice, sell their practice, change their profession, retire or die under penalty of death.

"Medicare/Medicaid Patients will be seen . . . eventually.
Patients able to pay the cost of providing service will be seen first."

That strikes me as a good response to a demand that physicians act as slaves of our ruling class, at least until the next decree from the dictators.

This is what some folks might call one of them there litmus tests, wet finger in the air, ear to the ground, so on, and so forth. If Virginia can do it, then heck, mebbe’ good ol’ big-mamma gub-mint (the sow with a gazillion nipples) can start forcin’ doctors nationwide to accept them there gub-mint eentitlemint recipients. Don’t you just love it when the government forces people to do stuff? It’s all fun & games until somebody gets shipped off to the gulag, or until thirty percent of your doctors retire.
