Yet another middle-income American discovers that Obamacare exchange plans are ‘junk insurance’
Conservative Intel ^ | 11/1/13 | David Freddoso

...[T]he striking thing is, there seem to be no anecdotes out there at all of people who have had their plans cancelled but will pay less through Obamacare for better insurance...There also don’t seem to be many stories (I haven’t seen any with screen captures or vetted by a reliable journalist) of people finding they’ll pay a bit more on the Obamacare exchanges but at least get a lower deductible in return.

Instead, one finds story after story after story of people who will or would have to pay much more for plans with even higher deductibles and out-of-pocket limits than what they had previously. If you thought you had “junk insurance” before, you’re now getting the dung-heap of insurance...

In Federalist Number 57, James Madison wrote that Congress “can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of the society.”

As wise an idea as this was, Madison and the other Framers failed to expressly incorporate such a limit on government within the Constitution itself.

I believe we need several amendments to the Constitution. How about you??

This thing is so freakin’ insane, just who exactly do the fascists think will benefit from this? The poor? Well don’t they already have medicaid?medicare? Whatever they call it? So who is benefitting from this? If you are self-employed you have to pay something like $300 - $400 a month, which is insane, what is the difference from before? It’s basically the same cost as before. This should prove to anyone with half a brain that this isn’t about healthcare at all but an attempt by the ruling elites to introduce fascism which is exactly why Congress demanded they be exempt. The government no longer works for the people, the people are enslaved to the government. Merely for existing they punish you. Buy this companies product or you will be fined.

First black president destroys entire healthcare system in America, just because he wanted to play around with it, like a toy.

Oh the humanity!!!! If this crashes and burns do we even have to guess libs will blame it on Repubs 24/7 for the next 50 years? “Mary died because she didn’t have insurance because the evil Republicans did away with Obamacare” crap like that.

These plans are the cocaine hallucinations of wannabe Marxists where they will somehow add thirty million high risk customers to the insurance rolls with total coverage, for less money, and still be able to siphon off billions for progressive ideologies.

I have a 59 yr old cousin who works every day but has no insurance and hasn’t had any insurance forever. She goes to a free clinic in town when she needs to see a doctor. I put her info into the CoveredCa site just to see what it would come up with. She qualifies for a subsidized premium so that she would only pay $1 a month and would have insurance. The kicker is all the plans have a $5k deductible that she couldn’t come up with to save her life. So essentially she will be charged $1 a month for insurance that she will NEVER use and the insurance company will be receiving the subsidized money from the feds every month for a policy that they will never have to pay out on.
Ain’t Obamacare grand?

First and last black President. Thanks to liberals and their fanatical lust for power they picked one of the least qualified individuals in history to be the first black President and as a result it will never happen again. Once again liberals show their genius for advancing colored people. Like my brother says: Obama is the David Dinkins of the Presidency. Dinkins was the first black Mayor in New York city and ended up being the worst Mayor in NYC history which means the next time there will be another black Mayor in NYC is never. Amazing how black don’t protest that. How liberals always throw the biggest clowns in office when it comes to blacks. Marion Barry the crack smoker and incredibly they reelect him.

I think that a lot of the outrageous costs and deductibles will cause such a revolt among the young and healthy that they will be desperate to find some rich teat to fund the old and sick. It’s a John Galt scenario because you can only tax the rich so far, then they leave. What scares me is that Obamacare will have long-term consequences even if it is repealed or modified. Things like doctors retiring, young people deciding not to become doctors, new drugs and products not being made, and hospitals going bankrupt.

I think you just made a better case for why there will never again be a white president rather than there will never again be a black president.

a $6000 deductable is essentially NO INSURANCE.

(it is 6000 decuctable PLUS 10% co pay ALWAYS!)

A couple seeking to have a baby has to pay for abortions?
An elderly couple has to pay for birth control plus abortions?

Remember this is federal so “alternative lifestyle” pairs are under this taxpayer boondogle.

So who is benefitting from this?

Your entire post is written like you think the purpose of the president's healthcare act is to provide better coverage and access to people. That's a mistaken conclusion. If you look at past statements by the president, as well as others, look at how it is being implemented, and use common sense to extrapolate the out come of all this, it is obvious that the end game here is to collapse the insurance industry; paving the way for single payer government controlled health care.
