I'm using my farm veterinarian and the local farm supply store. Antibiotics are $12 for a 500ml bottle, enough for 200 intramuscular injections for an adult my size. Anti-inflamatories, epinephryn, I'll have to check on Banamine for pain and fever, as well as phenylbutazone for human use? I know the B-12 shots, worming meds, tetnus shots, clostridium shots, and rabies vaccines won't hurt me because my daughters have stuck me with a few each season while we wrestle with the herd. I've had a few foot rot vaccines stabbed in my hands as well.

Same bandageings, castings, syringes for subcutaneous, intramuscular shots, and oral drenches.

Works for me. When my wife was pregnant we had our herd ultrasound preg checker do my wife after she finished all the bred cows. The ultrasound was just as good as the one from the hospital, only she did it in the barn on a chair. It cost the same $3.00 per head too!

does the vet ask any questions when you buy antibiotics? are medicines just setting on the shelf so i can just go grab some amoxicillin and take it to the register?

what if i walk in there as a total stranger with a suit and tie and they ask me what kind of livestock i have? just tell them it’s for my kitty?
