Obama Lied About Obamacare

Do not forget the initial lie told to the American people that Obamacare would not be a tax. They knew it would never pass as a tax and it also breaks Obama’s other promise not to raise taxes on the middle class. From the White House talking points 9/29/2009:

What President Obama is proposing is not a tax, but a requirement to comply with the law.

People are required to obey the speed limit and have to pay a penalty if they get caught speeding? Does anyone consider that a tax?

People are required to have car insurance and can be fined if they are caught without it. Is that a tax?

This whole damn thing has been one lie after another – while knowing the American people would not have gone along with Obamacare if they knew the truth.
