Fainter Karmel Allison Says Obamacare Is “Liberating” But Won’t Leave Kaiser Permanente
DC Clothesline ^ | 10/26/2013 | Tim Brown

Posted on 10/26/2013 6:09:22 AM PDT by IbJensen

Yesterday, I wrote and provided video evidence that the apparent fainting of Karmel Allison was staged. While it is true that Mrs. Allison is a diabetic, the fainting spell does raise a lot of questions, especially in light of the fact that she was there to support Barack Obama’s healthcare push. What’s also interesting, is who her husband is and how that fits the equation.

First, let’s set the stage. Mrs. Allison contributes to the site ASweetLife.com, which focuses on women’s health, specifically diabetes.

In a recent article, posted on October 7, 2013, Allison writes about “what Obamacare feels like to a diabetic”:

First, some background on my current healthcare status: I have been with the same HMO, Kaiser, since before I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of nine. I have therefore felt married to Kaiser; in Kaiser’s eyes, I do not have a pre-existing condition, whereas switching health insurance companies might expose me to being labeled with the big scarlet D for diabetic. Kaiser is pretty good as a health provider so long as you can find good doctors, and I am lucky enough to have lived in big cities with big hospitals where I have lots of choice. I am also lucky enough to have wanted to stay in California all this time, and to have a husband who is very good at talking his way through pharmacies and bureaucracies when I am busy weeping with frustration that they won’t give me the medication I have been prescribed. (That’s a story for another time, though.) All that said, Kaiser raises its rates by 10 – 15% every year, and I don’t like the feeling that if I wanted to change, or needed to move to the East Coast, I would be in a very precarious position.

So on October 1st, I went to my state’s ACA exchange, CoveredCA. I was mostly curious, and wanted to see what the plans and rates would be; even if I want to change my healthcare, I intend to give this whole Obamacare thing a few months to make sure Congress doesn’t knife it in the back right after I make a switch.

She went on to write that she was not asked about pre-existing conditions. Apparently she had such a “liberating” experience that she got “chills” just thinking of the feeling that though she was completely happy with her current provider, she had other options. That just sounds ridiculous.

The White House backed up her claim just ahead of Obama’s speech:

Karmel Allison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was nine years old. She has stayed on the same insurance ever since, despite constantly rising costs, for fear she would not be able to find a plan that would cover her due to her pre-existing condition. Allison recently began researching her options on CoveredCA and has publically [sic] described her experience as finally feeling equal to others, including her young and healthy husband, when it comes to access to coverage.

Noticeably missing from Mrs. Allison’s article is the cost to her for the Affordable Care Act, and it’s clear that Mrs. Allison did not choose to go with any of the options that “liberated” her. In other words, she is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the train wreck that is Obamacare. This is where her husband David comes in. The information below comes from his LinkedIn.com account.

David Allison is a graduate of the University of California, Berkley. He is a software platform architect with management, design, and development experience in multiple languages, technology platforms, design paradigms, and team sizes. Allison is also a member of the San Diego Software Industry Council Analytics Committee, and has mentored at numerous Startup Weekend Events.

In addition, he is the chief technology officer and co-founder of Nulu.com, the founder and chief technology officer at Minute7.com, and the President of Arcaio Inc. Nulu actually teaches Spanish to English and some have speculated that Nulu has been involved in the Spanish version of Healthcare.gov, though I have been unable to find any credible information that would substantiate that claim.

Allison tweeted out his thanks to Obama for catching his wife (which Obama didn’t do):

(refer to link)

He then went on to poo poo all of us that clearly saw what was going on:

(Refer to link)

Right, admiring it so much that after being liberated at all her choices, she decided to keep her plan. Then, he threw in the concerned husband tweet:

(Refer to link)

Now look, I recognize there would have been issues with secret service and such, but come on people. Are you telling me they vet Mrs. Allison, but not Mr. Allison? Are you telling me that he would not have been allowed to go and check on his wife? Seriously? I would have to call that into question.

However, the point is that taking into account Mr. Allison’s entrepreneurial spirit and the companies he currently has, one would consider that he does very well for himself. I’ve owned several small businesses. That doesn’t necessarily make you rich, but it does make you independent, and for that Mr. Allison should be congratulated.

The concern I have is that apparently Mr. and Mrs. Allison do very well for themselves and live in San Diego (not the least expensive place to live in California). They have a great insurance plan, which she is covered with and is happy with. So why the push to use her, in more ways than one, to promote Obamacare? Mrs. Allison doesn’t have a complaint about her current plan; her husband can afford it and after seeing her options with Obamacare, of which she never stated a cost, she is sticking with Kaiser. This is telling, because if her husband makes around $500,000, then she would not be willing to let you know just how much that “liberating” feeling of going with Obamacare would cost her family over her current provider, would she? I think not. I can tell you what it will cost you though. Check out some of these reports here, here, and of course if you don’t purchase the Obamacare option and don’t want the scam of insurance then you can expect a hefty tax for not buying it, and the majority of those people will make less than $120,000.

Before someone attacks me over this, I think it right and proper to vet anyone’s motives in promoting Obamacare, especially when they cause a scene such as Mrs. Allison did. In light of the fact she has health insurance and is covered nicely, yet didn’t immediately jump onboard with Obamacare should raise red flags with anyone who buys her story.

Right, admiring it so much that after being liberated at all her choices, she decided to keep her plan. Then, he threw in the concerned husband tweet:

Every appearance this liar-in-chief makes is staged!

He's either wrapped himself with a dozen American flags or has an array of stooges behind him to support his act.

He is a carnival man. Even his spokesman is a carney the definition of which is a carnival roustabout.

Obama himself is a geek. Which is a carnival definition of an imbecile in a cage who tears into live chickens with his teeth and then devours the critter feathers and all.

Yes. The Kenyan is a geek while poor, pathetic Karmel is just stupid!

Fantastic photo!

I have a max case of type 2 diabetes. As in maxed out on Metformin, etc. I don’t drink, I barely eat, etc. My pancreas was damaged when I was 40 and it started then.

Now I am scared that the goons in DC will put me on the death list.

I HATE these f***ers!!!!!!

I have the sneaking suspicion..that obamacare ...as a WHOLE...is not going to recover sufficiently to ALLOW anyone in DC to make any death lists.

I think its going DOWN the Porcelan Appliance

Glad you appreciated my Obama Care Carnival Banner! Thank you.

Lucifercare imposes a special appliance tax on that receptacle, doesn't it?

“what Obamacare feels like to a diabetic”

is very different from what Obamacare feels like to a diabetic who already has a decent health plan that she wants to stick with...

the video of this is beyond revealing that this entire thing was staged. Watch the young lady to this left. She looks as if she is a MLB pitcher shaking off signs from her catcher. Then she taps the fainter. Then precisely the right time Obama just so happens to turn around. Then when she is led off you can see a white patch on back of her left arm.

FAKE! (00:58) She gets the signal from someone in the crowd and she lips something back to confirm she got the signal - it even looks like she nods her head a little. Then passes that signal to the "fainting woman" by putting her arm around her. That told her it is time to do the "stunt", the fainter then looks straight at her almost to say 'now?' and then it happens. You'll notice no change in posture until the helper puts her arm around her, she had no reason to do that other than signaling.

This pathetic excuse for a human being has used this ploy seven times! It's so obvious to a person in possession of a functioning brain that this is staged again and again. Even La Hitlery has used this act.

Which begs the question why/who flew them from San Diego to the Rose Garden?

It is so awesome and liberating that the people who passed it won’t use it, the people who praise it don’t want it, the people who promote it aren’t using it and the paid shills won’t be on it either. Do you think the Baltimore Ravens are going to be switching while they push ObamaCare? Of course not.

Take these liberating shackles, if you put them on you will never again have to worry about your next meal or a roof to sleep under... no more worries at all.... it’s liberating!

The patch probably contains an electronic sensor that sends a shock to alert the actress that she’s on stage.
