I agree that primaries are more important for conservatives to get involved in in order to win. For example, Peter King could be taken out in a primary by a small but dedicated group of people and a halfway decent candidate. There are about 150,000 registered Republicans in his district. Republican primary participation is around 10-12%. With the closed primary system, you only 9000 votes against him to knock him out. This could be done under the radar with a few thousand dollars and a lot of door knocking and telephoning.
Good Point!
“Reince has already sending his Whig patrol to FreeRepublic, trying to corral the conservatives back into the pen. You can see them in posts whining about threads criticizing Mitch McConnell.”
“You’re right about that. On another thread, a couple of them have scolded the “usual suspects” for using unkind terms for gay people, such as queer and fag. Those of us who do that are making conservatives look bad, apparently.”
Yes, I recently a freeper posted a reply to a thread that was criticizing Rubio that;
“I see the Taliban is out in force today...”
That FR thread really brought out the ‘Whig Patrol’ on the attack. LOL

Proud Taliban Tea Party member!
Ping!
I’m bookmarking this to read later in the afternoon.
Taliban Tea Party, huh? LOL! Guilty here, too.
The GOPe hates conservatives.
The GOPes are Democrats. It is time to face that.
Next time someone says vote for the RINO because they are better than Democrats, punch them. :p
LMAO!
Oh....how good it would feel....
Then I guess I’m not either.
Peter King would be totally destroyed by a conservative third-party candidate in the general election if he’s not felled in the primaty.
And in his case it would be worth it.
Who’s going to vote for these suicidal morons when conservatives fly the coop? Do they really think that most of the newly legalized Mexicans are going to vote for them out of gratitude?
