"Goldwater"

I remember when Goldwater ran for prez. If anybody too young to remember thinks conservatives are maligned now, they should have seen the garbage that was thrown at Goldwater. He was considered a crazy war-monger who would start a nuclear war as soon as he was sworn in. I was too young to vote at that time, but I can't remember seeing or reading any pro-Goldwater articles. Even the entertainment industry was solidly against him.
