The fact is that Obama and his cronies are above the law.
Fact is they are the law. They ignore the laws that they want to ignore and impose other laws on those they wish to impose them on. Obama is above the other branches of the government. He has the Senate in his pocket, he has Boehner in his pocket, and whatever he has on Justice Roberts keeps the Supreme Court in his pocket.

It's not that they think they're above the other branches. They know they're above the other branches. They know they can push to the upper limits and beyond, as long as the other branches don't bother to stop them. So far, the best the other branches have done is to make a lot of noise, but Obama and the administration keep getting away with everything.

Benghazi, and the IRS targeting of conservative groups, and the Fast and Furious scandal, and other cases of malfeasance, have been "investigated" with no real attempts to hold anyone responsible. We have a set of republican investigative committees that just hold hearings, and the president and cabinet members and the whole administration know that, republicans are feckless, and just going through the motions. So, why would Obama or anybody else in the administration have anything to worry about?

Look at it this way: he armed the drug lords until he got caught. He armed al Quaeda until Benghazi blew up. He armed the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood until the army revolted. He tried to disarm Americans. He massively armed all federal departments, and police with hollow-point bullets, swat teams and armored personnel carriers. He turned the IRS loose on his political adversaries. He used the Intelligence agencies to snoop on the people.

America certainly has been transformed....and impoverished.
